MONARCH RANCH - LOUISE ALLEN FOUNDATION: 3-Day, 2-Night Texas Trophy Whitetail Hunt for One Hunter a
The Louise Allen Foundation is offering a 3-day/2-night white-tailed deer hunting trip for one hunter and one guest on the Monarch Ranch. This hunt will be for one free-range white-tailed trophy buck. The 23,000+ acre Monarch Ranch is located along the beautiful Devils River in Southwestern Texas. The Monarch Ranch is a historic property in Val Verde County with a past tied to the protection of travelers on the San Antonio-El Paso Road, which included the remnants of Fort Hudson. Established in 1857, the fort was part of a network of camps built to aid travelers on the Chihuahua Trail. The ranch is known for its significant natural features, including miles of the Devil's River, and a history of human habitation dating back over 5,000 years, with remnants of native American presence on the land. Lodging and meals will be provided. HSCF references: Joe Betar, Kevin Ormston, and Ross Melinchuk. HSCF thanks Monarch Ranch - Louise Allen Foundation for this generous donation.
