7 day Fall Maine Black Bear Trapping Excursion. Arrive mid-day Sunday, set out bear cable restraints Sunday afternoon. Cellular cameras will be utilized on the trapping site to minimize the time the bear is restrained. Trip is 7 days/7 nights.
Available hunt dates are: 9/1-9/8/24, 9/8-9/15/24, 9/15-9/22/24
Hunt can be delayed. Location of hunt is Linneus, ME Weapon-any.
Maine is the only state that it is legal to trap a bear. Katahdin's Shadow Outfitters has made a cable restraint system that does not harm the bear. Three hot meals provided daily, private cabins fully furnished with linens, towels and everything you need during your stay.
