Marlin 410 .410 SN:3214
The Marlin Model .410 Lever Action Shotgun was made from 1929-1932. The action & buttstock used on the Model .410 was basically the same as the Model 1893. Apparently Marlin offered the Model .410 free if you bought 4 shares of company preferred stock at $25/share. It has a 26" blued barrel, "silver" bead front sight, knurled hammer spur, smooth trigger and 12" magazine tube. Metal finish looks good but has lost much of the original blue with a few spots worn white. There is some surface rust. The two piece wood stocks have finger grooves in the forearm and a "serpent" grip cap with black Marlin butt plate. Butt plate has a small chip at the toe. Wood looks good with some minor signs of use and wear but no cracks. Bore looks good, needs cleaned. Choke is not marked on the gun but measures Improved Cylinder with a choke gauge. LOP is 13.5". Condition is NRA Good. *C&R Firearm*
