American made semi-automatic tube-fed rimfire rifle chambered for .22 Long Rifle only, and manufactured circa 1975 in North Haven, CT. Marlin's model 60 was in continuous production from 1960 until 2020, and it has been one of the most popular firearms of its kind. Rifle features a blued finish, matte black finished aluminum receiver and trigger guard, an approximately 22" round barrel with Micro-Grooved rifling, full-length magazine tube under barrel, raised blade front sight, elevation adjustable rear sporting sight, 3/8" dovetailed receiver for scope mounting, serrated curved silver-toned trigger, smooth charging handle, and an annular cut trigger guard mounted push-button safety. The hardwood furniture consists of a semi-pistol gripped shoulder stock with serrations, and a squirrel in a pentagon on the wrist. The forend has serrated texturing and boxed oak leaf designs, and the shoulder stock has a checkered black plastic butt plate. A Glenfield fixed 4x15mm 'Opti-Centered' scope with plain crosshairs is mounted on the receiver using two-piece 3/4" rings. The original matte black finish retained is approximately 90% with edge wear, chipping paint, and handling blemishes. Metal displays minor deformation in some of the screw slots, and scattered light rust on the barrel and magazine tube. Furniture wood is in good condition with handling marks and edge wear, and the action is smooth and crisp. The bore looks bright with strong rifling.
Condition is NRA Good.
