'Camp Carbine', an American made semi-automatic carbine chambered for 9x19mm Luger, and manufactured in North Haven, CT. The Model 9 Camp Carbines were produced between 1985 and 1999. Rifle features a blued finish, an approximately 16-1/2" tapered barrel, raised protected blade front sight (painted red), elevation adjustable buckhorn style rear sight, front trigger guard mounted manual safety, receiver drilled & tapped for scope base mounting, last-shot bolt hold open, magazine disconnect, push-button magazine release, accepts 12 ad 20-round detachable magazines (S&W 59 series type magazines), and smooth curved trigger. The hardwood furniture consists of a smooth semi-pistol gripped shoulder stock, smooth forend with a sling stud, sling stud on the bottom of the shoulder stock, and a solid brown rubber recoil pad with a black spacer. The original blued finish retained is approximately 99% with superficial blemishes. Metal displays no deformation, but does exhibit rust on the front sight hood, barrel, and very light rust on the receiver. Bore is bright with strong rifling, but needs cleaning. Action is smooth and crisp, and the furniture wood is in very good condition with a few scattered minor blemishes. Plastic trigger guard and magazine well is in excellent condition. Rifle includes a black padded nylon sling with two sling swivels.
Condition is NRA Good.
