Masailand Plains Game Hunt
Michel & Nicole Mantheakis and MANTHEAKIS SAFARIS are donating this top-notch Masailand hunt for 1 hunter. On this 10-day Masailand plains game hunt, the winning bidder can take a Roberts Gazelle, Thomson Gazelle, Grants Gazelle, East African Impala, Zebra, White-Bearded Wildebeest, Dik Dik, Striped Hyena, Spotted Hyena, East African Bushbuck, Olive Baboon, Golden Jackal, Side-Striped Jackal, and game birds. Buffalo are also available in the package, but this requires good physical fitness. This will certainly be the experience of a lifetime! Dates for the hunt are during the July-December season in either 2018 or 2019.

The donation can be upgraded to a 14-day full Masailand species hunt based on a 21-day license for Lesser Kudu, Fringe-Eared Oryx, Gerenuk, Chanler's Mountain Reedbuck, East African Bohor Reedbuck, East African Eland, Cokes Hartebeest, Steinbuck, Klipspringer, and Ostrich. No other outfitter offers more species in Masailand or in better quality and abundance and in more stunning scenery. The cost of the upgrade is $28,000.

The hunts take place in Longido GCA and Lake Natron West GCA out of the camps called Longido, Lengai, and Pinini. The hunter will move every 3 days from one camp to the next in a 2- to 3-hour car transfer. This affords the hunter not only far better selection and quality in trophies, but also a richer overall experience.

Each camp is different and located in different landscape and vegetation, so it's a richer hunting experience than hunting out of only one camp. In Longido Camp you have views of Kilimanjaro and Mt Meru; in Natron you have a stunning view of Oldonyo Lengai (Maasai mountain of God) and the Rift Valley. Pinini Camp is in a gorge with a running river and has a road up Oldonyo Sambu Mountain and a bird's eye view of Lake Natron from almost 2km above.

A non-hunter can be added to this hunt for $5,000; if the hunter takes the 14-day package the cost is $7,000. An additional hunter can come in two ways: 1. As a Companion Hunter, where both hunters are legal hunters and have licenses, but between the two of them they share the game included in the package at a cost of $10,000. 2. As a Full Hunter, where they have their own PH and hunting team and take the same list of game as the first hunter. This option prices at $30,000.

The donation includes all government fees, transfer to camp, all outfitting, food + drink, PH, transport, 11 nights in camp, and 10 full hunting days.

Not included in this hunt are trophy fees, hotel before and after the hunt, gratuities, and international flights.
