Mauser Model 1914 .32 ACP #158691
German semiautomatic pistol manufactured during WWI, circa 1914-1918. Features approx 3.25" barrel, fixed sights, single action trigger, manual safety, heel type magazine release, one piece checkered walnut grip. Bore is good to very good condition, fairly bright with light frosting. Retains 20% blued finish, much gray color overall, with bare metal on high spots & sharp edges, bare metal where handled and where vigorously cleaned, some bright blue in protected areas (such as on sides of trigger). Some areas show light cleaned pitting, other areas show light patina. Magazine is dented with some rust. Markings are typically crisp & even. Mauser banner on left side appears a bit shallow across top edge. Wood is good condition, with smoothing of checkering. No import marks observed. Trigger reset does not work properly, has some sort of internal mechanical issue. Slide does not lock open on empty mag. Includes a fair condition leather holster, with mag slot, appears to be a modified flap type with added retention strap (strap is poor fit). Condition is NRA Fair (mechanical issues) *** C& R Firearm ***
