'Luger' WWII era German military toggle locked recoil operated semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9x19mm Parabellum, manufactured circa 1939. Features a 4" barrel, dovetailed inverted 'V' front sight, 'v' notched rear sight, smooth crescent trigger, knurled charging knobs on the rear toggle link, manual safety of the left side of the frame, push button magazine release, 8 round magazine with aluminum base, steel frame with lanyard loop & stock lug, and checkered wood grips. Matching serial numbers are found on the barrel, barrel extension, sear bar, safety latch, breechblock, firing pin, extractor, front toggle link, rear toggle link, rear toggle connecting link, lock bolt, side plate, trigger, frame and both grip panels. Other markings: Barrel – “8.82”, [eagle]/”63” & [eagle]. Barrel extension – “1939”, [eagle]/”63” stamped twice, [eagle] & “GESICHERT”. Front toggle link – “S/42”. & Magazine – “5279/r”, “+” & [eagle]/”63”. Includes a brown leather flap holster marked “P08”, “OTTOSINDEL/BERLIN/ 1935/[eagle]/[swastika] /WaA280” & “JTR/7285”. Pistol retain little to no remain finish with an aged bear patina thought. Action is sound, the bore is bright with good rifling & some minor pitting, markings are very good and the matching wood grips are very good. Condition is NRA Good to Very Good. ***C&R Firearm***
