Mauser bolt action carbine, 7mm caliber, 18.5” barrel, blued finish, wood stock, S/N 5093, in overall good to very good condition with crest on top of receiver ground off some time ago, good bore, action, markings andwood. Interesting old tag attached to butt stock saddle ring stating “This Mauser carbine rifle is a gift from President Francisco Madero of Mexico to Edward H. Campbell in appreciation of services rendered to the Republic of Mexico in Mexico City in the year 1912 at Chapuletepec Castle”. Should be further researched. (C&R). Est.: $300-$600.
