Two barrel set. Manufactured by Hopkins, & Allen circa 1880's Total made estimated at a few thousand. D/A 7-shot fluted cylinder, rarer model with the folding hammer spur, and lanyard ring. Standard nickel plated finish with checkered saw handle type hard rubber grips. Unique extraction and loading mechanism identical to the larger Army models. Serial number 1977 stamped on the left frame under the grip panel. Assembly number on the cylinder face, heel (faint), and face of barrel lug. 3.5" ribbed barrel with pinned front sight blade. folding spur in stamped "32" with patent date. Comes with matching second 5.5" barrel with same assembly number. Clear Merwin Hulbert address, and patent dates in two lines on the barrel rib. Left frame marked " 32 Cal. 7 Shot" Bore has rifling present, and has scattered areas of pitting, grips are very good, nickel finish is about 50% with handling loss on the cylinder, straps and rear of frame. Action works fine when you forward the barrel & cylinder, but when in place the hammer does not cock, needs adjustment. The second 5.5" barrel has clear Address, patent dates, with areas of finish loss turning a brown patina. Bore has rifling, but areas of pitting. NRA Condition-Very Good as Antique. Antique Firearm
