Come hunt the beautiful Sonora Goulds Turkeys with Safari Unlimited, SCI's 2014 North American Professional Hunter of the year.
The Yecora, Sonora area of “Old” Mexico is the home of the Vaqueros, the Mexican Cowboys. You will be chasing the Goulds Turkeys at elevations up to 5,000 feet. These large and fast birds are constantly on the move up & down the mountains.
This trip includes lodging at a cabin and chef prepared Vaquero meals. This region of Mexico is safe & filled with friendly locals. Hasta Pronto Amigos!
The hunt is for 3 days hunting/4 nights for 2 hunters with trophy fees for 2 turkeys and professional guides. Hunt date - End of March to Mid-May 2026 or 2027. Weapon-shotgun.
Not included: Tips to guides & staff, Flights to and from Hermosillo, Mexico (airport code: HMO), transportation to hunting camp, license fee and taxidermy/packing/shipping. Permits & additional fees – License/Turkey Tag - $300/hunter, Gun Rental- $350/hunter, Extra Turkeys - $1,200/bird + tag, Charter flight from Hermosillo to Camp $750-$1,000/person roundtrip or optional 4.5-hour mountain road drive to camp-$500/vehicle roundtrip.
