Mid-70's Ruger No. 1-B Single Shot Rifle, #130-36669, .270 cal., 26'' barrel with quarter rib, blue finish, from the factory without sights. Checkered pistol-grip walnut stock with a semi-beavertail forearm, factory red rubber pad, Ruger grip cap, and sling swivel studs. Topped with a Redfield 4x scope with a duplex reticle. Mfg'd 1976. Left side of barrel is marked ''Made In The 200th Year Of American Liberty''. Rifle is in near fine overall condition and shows signs of moderate field/range use. Approx. 97% original blue finish remains; left side of receiver with some faint scratching and lower edge with scattered specks of pitting. Receiver with normal plum-colored toning. Left side of buttstock with a few small spots of wear near the red pad; forend with scattered light to moderate shallow impressions, with one slightly more noticeable 1/4''x1/4'' shallow mar to the lower edge near receiver; checkering on both is mostly clean and sharp. Action is crisp; bright bore rates excellent. Scope exterior shows old ring marks; optics are bright and clear. Est.: $500-$700. (Modern)
