SN:02368MX371. The Browning Model 1885 "125 Years" is a commemorative single-shot falling-block rifle produced in 2003 to celebrate 125 years since John Moses Browning built his first design in 1878. High Quality rifle manufactured in Japan by Miroku for Browning. Features a high polish blued finish, the receiver has special scroll engraving gold borders and the inscription gold inlay accents,"125 Years/ BROWNING /1878-2003" , gold plated serrated trigger, chambered in .45-70 Government. 28-inch octagon barrel, dovetailed front blade/bead sight, and buckhorn rear sights, checkered walnut forearm and a straight-grip stock featuring a crescent steel buttplate, sling swivels. Factory adjustable rear flip-up aperture sight installed on the tang. Breech block is polished. The bore is pristine, the rifle is in like-new excellent condition, appears unfired.
