Model 1902 Swiss Luger Carbine, #50100, .30 Luger cal., 11-3/4'' barrel, blue finish with straw small parts, factory checkered walnut grips, with matching numbered checkered walnut shoulder stock, and one unmarked nickel-plated magazine with walnut base and metal insert discs, with original leather sling, in period correct partition casing. Swiss cross and sunburst to chamber, DWM marked toggle, lower portion of thumb safety polished bright, 3-position adjustable rear sight, with long ramp and blue bead front sight; scalloped toggle knobs and grip safety. Considered extremely rare by collectors with this serial number falling into the range of known Special Order guns (30,000-69,000); ''(crown)B'' and ''U'' markings to left side upper receiver. Condition is excellent retaining approx. 98%+ lightly thinning original rust blue, with minor thinning to left and right side of trigger and at base of safety. Front strap shows very mild toning. Action is crisp, bore is fine. All visible matching numbers. Grips and forend remain mostly crisp and show some oil darkening. Stock is excellent with the complete serial number marked to the top of attaching iron. The 100-year-old case shows light impressions to exterior, minor fading, and light soiling to internal blue material, with moderate patination to brass hinges and external hardware.
