Rich McAtee from Montana Wilderness Lodge & Outfitting is a local Montanan and first-time donor to our banquet. He has donated a Mule Deer Hunt for 1 hunter for 5 days. This hunt is for rifle only and to be taken November 1 – December 1, 2019 or 2020. Contact outfitter for open dates. You will be hunting in the South Fork of the Flathead, where there are some of the best genetics for big, mature mule deer in the west. Because of the rough, unforgiving country, these bucks grow old and live in country that few hunters ever access. We rely on our big strong mountain horses to bust through the deep snow and gain elevation to access great mule deer habitat. This is an exclusive hunt, and our guides are experts in locating and pursuing these rare trophies. The possibility of a trophy class mule deer buck is fairly high. Winning bidder must purchase a resident or non-resident general deer tag. Included in hunt is trophy fee for one Mule deer, accommodations include lodge for meals and social hour and cabins for sleeping. Non-hunter can be added for an additional fee.
