Montauk Cottages Vacation
Includes 1 week stay at Montauk Cottages after Labor Day, to be taken in the 2018 season. Welcome to Montauk, Long Island, New York, which is part of East Hampton, and located at the far end of Long Island. We are honored that you are considering our town for your vacation. Doing so indicates that you have a sense of appreciation for the greater and finer things in life. Montauk Cottages consist of two privately owned cottages adjacent to each other, located on the south or ocean side of Montauk called Hither Hills.  The two Hither Hills cottages include key access to four private parking lots for a mile of sandy ocean beach under the supervision of the Montauk Beach Property Owners Association, (MBPOA). Cottages can be your base station for world-class sport fishing, golfing, biking, hiking, boating, jet skiing, parasailing, kayaking, whale watching, tennis, horseback riding, shopping, spas and rollerblading. Montauk is a surfer friendly town and has been a "surfing safari" destination since the beach boys first loaded up.  If you have the urge, but left your equipment home, then rest easy pilgrim as rental of surfing and boogie boards, along with boating and jet ski are available. You might just want to hang out and enjoy the spectacular breathtaking sunset, while dining at the finest East Hampton restaurants on the Far Eastern tip of Long Island during the most beautiful time of year.  Cottages are 9/10 of a mile to downtown Montauk and a 7 to 10 minute walk to the most beautiful, breath-taking private beach with ultimate sunsets. At no time do you not hear the crashing of the ocean's powerful waves. Montauk is also a world-class sport fisherman's paradise and a "no brainer" for a great vacation getaway for a group or a family.  Enjoy the Light House at Montauk Point (Commissioned by George Washington), Montauk Harbor, outdoor restaurants, cafes, markets, fishing and charter boats.  Montauk is accessible by ferryboats from New London and Bridgeport, CT and by the Long Island Expressway or Long Island Railroad from New York City. Montauk also has an airport and hundreds of boat slips to accommodate boaters coming to fish or to visit. For more information, visit www.montaukcottages.com
