American made pump-action shotgun chambered for 3" 12 Gauge shells, and manufactured North Haven, CT. The Model 500 started production in 1961, and is still produced today. Shotgun features a blued finish on the steel components, black anodized aluminum receiver drilled and tapped for optic mounting, an approximately 28" vent rib barrel, white bead front sight, brass mid-bead, accepts Accu-Chokes and measures 'Improved Cylinder' with a drop-in gauge, dual action bars, half-length magazine tube, smooth curved trigger, smooth left side receiver mounted bolt release behind trigger, serrated top receiver mounted sliding safety. The hardwood furniture consists of a semi-pistol gripped shoulder stock with checkering at the wrist, finger grooved checkered slide handle, 14" length-of-pull, and a brown ventilated rubber recoil pad with black spacers. The original blued finish retained is approximately 98% with light handling marks on the barrel. The anodized receiver finish remaining is about 98% with very light scratches that don't expose bare metal. Metal displays no deformation, or rust. The action is smooth and crisp, and the bore looks bright and shiny. The furniture wood is in very good condition with light edge wear on the grip, and some minor handling blemishes.
Condition is NRA Very Good.
