SERIAL NUMBER 1313294 BARREL 5" CALIBER 45 ACP MANUFACTURED 1943. Originally produced by Remington Rand and then manufactured to a National Match Service Pistol by Springfield Armory. Parkerized finish , checkered walnut grips, marked "SA" on left side of frame. Gov't purchased Colt National Match Barrel with alloy long adjustable target trigger. Micro marked target rear sight Stippled front grip strap. High target front sight. These pistols were built for National Match competition at Camp Perry Ohio for use by all branches of the Military services. CONDITION. Very good with most parkerized finish remaining. A small area of pitting exist on left side of slide at the Remington Rand markings. Pistol has both the small "P" proof and the later large "P" proof on the left side of the frame below the original FJA inspection. Slide is numbered at Springfield to match frame with last 4 digits of serial number. Bore is excellent and action operates properly. C&R
