CASE. Cal. 12 Ga., 2 3/4". S# 40.03.03.902. Bbls. 28 3/8" monobloc fitted w/ narrow matted ventilated rib are gold inlaid "Kemen" on top right side of monobloc & are stamped w/ Spanish nitro proofs for 2 3/4" chambers. The number "2" is inlaid at rear portion of rib, matching number found on top lever & forend latch. Bottom of monobloc is stamped w/ serial number & engraved "Made in Spain". Coin finished action w/ removable trigger group having V-springs is fitted w/ automatic safety & single nonselective trigger. Action is engraved w/ very attractive near full coverage sprays of well cut scroll surrounding & accented by rose and floral bouquets. "KEMEN" is emblazoned at top of forend iron mortise. Pistol grip buttstock of exhibition quality, finely marbled & intricately fiddle figured European walnut measures 14 5/8" over black "Kick-eez" pad. Stock features point pattern checkering at grip w/ sm. right hand palm swell & a vacant gold oval on toeline. Matching one piece field type forend has Deeley type release. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameter: T .726", B .726". Restriction: T .007" (IC), L .007" (IC). STOCK: DAH: 1 3/4". DAC: 1 7/16". LOP: 14 5/8". CAST: neutral. WEIGHT: 7 lb. 13 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: gun comes w/ alligator patterned leather case w/ brass trim lined in burgundy cloth. Case contains a Kemen label, pair of boss marked snap caps, toolkit containing spare firing pins & wrench, along w/ three keys. CONDITION: exceptionally fine, appears to be unfired since proof with a small number of handling marks on all wood & metal surfaces, most notably 3 or 4 scratches on left side panel. Mechanically crisp. Case is also very fine. Label has detached from lid. (22-4505/MGM). MODERN. $4,500-6,500.
