NEBRASKA MULE DEER HUNT
Join fellow Iowa FNAWS members for a 4 day hunt in Western Nebraska for Mule deer during the rut. A typical day of hunting would be spent glassing agricultural areas from elevated points hoping to catch animals moving to and from feeding and bedding areas in the morning and evening. The length of the average shot will be from 100 to 250 yards with every attempt to find a solid rest. This is also a great hunt for people with limited physical abilities, as the terrain allows you to get closer using 4x4 vehicles.  There is also the possibility of shooting a whitetail buck for around 20% of the deer population is whitetails. In 2018, Craig Nakamoto shot a whitetail which scored in the mid-160’s. License is good for either whitetail or mule deer and is over the counter. Lodging is in a very comfortable lodge whose rooms are equipped with hot showers and tv’s. Main lodge has a great fireplace, pool table, kitchen facilities and a very nice patio area with firepit. Home cooked meals are provided at the lodge. Hunt is scheduled for November 9-13, 2019.
