EJECTOR GAME GUN WITH CASE. Cal. 12 Ga. 2 5/8". S# 35576 (1907). This gun has all the features of the "Prince Koudacheff" Model or number 101. The 30" chopper lump bbls. are engraved "LeBeau-Courally A Liege Fary des Cours de Iussie et Espagne & Etyalie" on slightly raised matted game rib. Bbl. flats are stamped with pre 1920 Belgian nitro proofs and with maker's name, and "4686". Serial number is on reinforced splinter. Coin finished sidelock action features nonautomatic safety ("S" inlaid in gold) hidden third fastener, bushed strikers with gas vents, and double triggers (front articulated). The LeBeau-Courally logo is stamped on breech face and bbl. flats. Action and lockplates are engraved with near full coverage British style rose and scroll, another feature of the Model 101. Maker's name is not on exterior of action or locks. Serial number is on trigger guard bow. It appears that this gun was restocked and refurbished by the factory. Newer straight grip stock of well fiddle figured and nicely streaked European walnut measures 15" over black pad. Point pattern checkering is at grip. Matching beavertail Courally Patent ejector forend has Anson release. The LeBeau-Courally logo is inlet in gold on central uncheckered diamond. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS.: Bore Diameter: R: .732", L: .734". Restrictions: R: .028" (I MOD), L: .030" (FULL). Minimum Wall Thickness: R: .024", L: .022". STOCK: DAH: 1 7/16". DAC: 1 1/8". CAST: neutral but comb is offset to left with cast at comb approx. 1/4" on. LOP: 15". WEIGHT: 7 lbs. 8 oz. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: gun comes with a high quality dark brown leather motorcase with stitched reinforcing in corners. Case is lined in dark green cloth and has small Lebeau-Courally leather label in lid. Case contains a pair of keys. CONDITION: fine as refurbished most likely by factory. Bbls. retaining essentially all of a fine quality reblack, rib matting and engraving somewhat obscured. Action and locks have been cleaned to coin finish over some noted frosting and some fairly deep pits on right side around edges of lockplate and on fence. Engraving is mostly clear except for what is on trigger guard which is considerably softened. Stocks retain nearly all of their hand rubbed oil finish with a few minor handling marks and a number of fairly deep scratches on bottom of buttstock in grip area. Bores are shiny and have a large amount of fairly deep pitting in both bbls. Action is tight. Bbls. are on face. Ejectors are strong and in time. Case is very fine with some marks and rubs.
