Cal. 20 Ga. 2 3/4". S# 224042. The 28" bbls. are marked w/ Parker Bros. Meridan address & "PARKER STEEL" on concave matted rib. Bbl. flats are stamped w/ Parker overload proofs, steel type & Remington date code. Rear lump is marked "20" & w/ frame size "0". Typical Parker action w/ all correct marks on water table features automatic safety & dbl. triggers. Action is engraved in usual "P" style w/ sprays of scroll around screwholes within geometric borders. "Parker Bros." is on each side. Blued trigger guard has S# on tang. Attractive, high quality, newly made buttstock of very finely marbled & lightly figured European walnut measures 15 1/4" over Parker dog's head buttplate w/ spur. Point pattern checkering is on grip which is fitted w/ Parker marked cap. A vacant German Silver shield is on toeline. Matching splinter ejector forend w/ new wood has patent date on iron. MEASUREMENTS: BBLS: Bore Diameter: R .618", L .620". Restriction: R .005" (IC), L .012" (MOD). Min. Wall Thickness: R .025", L .022". STOCK: DAH: 2 7/16". DAC: 1 7/16". LOP: 15 1/4". CAST: neutral. WEIGHT: 6 lb. 4 oz. CONDITION: very fine as mostly reconditioned. Bbls. retaining nearly all of a good quality reblack. Action has traces of original case hardening color where protected & is mostly silver gray. Newly made very high quality stocks retain nearly all of their hand rubbed oil finish w/ a few minor nicks & dings. Bores are bright & shiny w/ some very light pitting evident toward breech end of right bbl. & evidence of dent removal about 14" behind muzzle & left. Action very tight (new bite fitted).
