SHIPMENTS: Shipping Information
All items are sent by Canada Post, CANPAR or UPS depending on location, size of parcel and regulations.
Items will be insured and a signature required. (unless under $100 and going by letter mail)
Ammunition and Firearms must be shipped to an address on file with the CFO or to a Courier Depot.
We can ship ammunition within Canada ONLY.
Ammunition has to be shipped CANPAR or UPS. This also requires you to give us a physical address, not a PO Box #. Ammunition must be sent to the address on file with the CFO, or to a Courier Depot.
Ammunition is heavy and therefore a minimum charge would be roughly $30.00 to ship.
Shipping charge will be determined after preparation.
Ammunition and firearms will need to be shipped separately.
Cost to ship a firearm can vary based on value. An example of a $400.00 firearm going to Alberta would cost $55- $65 to ship.
You will be emailed a tracking number to your email on file, when your parcel is sent out. Please check your junk email; this email will come from the shipping company.
Your credit card will be charged before the parcel leaves.
If you require an invoice with the actual shipping charge, or have not received your tracking # and notice the charge on your credit card please email admin@switzersauction.com and one will be emailed to you.
In the event that your parcel is returned to us, you will be charged for the return fee.
How we calculate shipping.
You will be charged for the actual cost of shipping.
Box & Handling fee of $7.50 - $15.00 per box, depending on size of box.
Insurance on the value of your parcel at a rate of $2.50 per 100, with the first $100 being free. eg. $900.00 value would cost $20.00 in Insurance
Tax for your area.
For small items under $100.00 that will fit in an envelope for Canada Post Regulations on Letter Mail, we will charge a flat fee of $10.00. There will be no insurance on these items. If you require insurance we can ship these in a box. If you would want your items boxed instead of in an envelope please email shipping@switzersauction.com at the completion of the auction.
PICKUPS: If you would like to pick up your items we are ONLY available Saturday Apr 27th 11:00- 5:00, as well as Tues 30th - Fri May 3rd 9:00-3:00 only the week following the auction. Please email us at pickup@switzersauction.com to make arrangements for pickups. Please make prior arrangements so we can have your items ready for you. We don't have room to store packages for lengthy periods of time and will not be held responsible for items left on site after Friday Mar 1st. Storage fees of $5.00 per item per day will be charged on items not picked up by Mar 1st.
USA BUYERS: YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL PERMITS AND CUSTOMS, DUTY CHARGES IF APPLICABLE! Your purchases will be shipped once we have received import documents from you. U.S.A. requires a completed ATF Form 6 completed by a licensed FFL Dealer. NOTE: NOT ALL ITEMS CAN BE SHIPPED TO THE U.S.A. SO BUYERS BEWARE. Contact ATF at (304) 616-4550 for more info, or your local authority. Shipping a firearm to the U.S. ranges from $80+. We will not ship ammunition to the USA.
International Buyers (other than USA): We are not able to ship ammunition or "any" class of firearm Internationally (other then USA) directly to you. If you would like to purchase firearms from us. We may be able to assist you with a 3rd party exporter who may be able to export these items. This is a costly procedure. Not all items are able to be exported to all countries. Buyer beware that Bidders have sole responsibility for their purchases. If an item has been purchased and the bidder is unable to import lots, the item or items will be sold at our next auction. Original buyer will be charged a commission on the resale.
Payment Details:
Your credit card provided to us will be charged for your purchases on Aug 17th 2019 If we are shipping your products to you a second charge for shipping will occur once your product is ready to ship. A $25.00 non processing fee will be added to any credit cards that we can't process. Please ensure that we have the correct number, and expiry. Recurrent problem payers, may be banned from future sales.
International buyers will be required to pay by "WIRE Transfer"

FIREARMS SALES CANADA: a valid P.A.L. is required to purchase firearms in Canada. Firearm registration applies to all restricted and prohibited firearms purchased for Canadians except firearms classified as antique and non-restricted.
