ACCESSORIES. Pistol case custom made of aluminum w/ military like riveted construction, piano hinge, locks, & removable pistol tray for up to 4 handguns. Interior has 3 compartments for ammo, mags., etc. Top lid w/ olive drab colored military style spotting scope having triangular name plate marked "Telescope / Observation / J-M48 / No. J-279" plus near excellent optics. Case has nylon aircraft like seatbelt style carry strap & is in good condition having signs of many years of use, yet ready for more. Consignor states that 1911 style pistols were built by Louis Willing who was Chief Armourer of USAF Advanced Marksmanship Training Unit at Lackland in Texas. Willing was Distinguished Marksman & member of President's Hundred. Pistols approximate those built & used by AMU. Consignor further states Jack Maple, one of the first members of Eisenhower's 1956 AMU as well as 1994 inductee into US Army Marksmanship Hall of Fame, checked over the handguns to certify they are fit for many more years of competitive shooting. Maple was Chief Armourer at Ft. Benning, Georgia. This is a great & complete Bullseye pistol shooter's package that would be difficult to improve upon.
