'Second Series' WWII era Japanese military striker fired semi-automatic service pistol chambered in 8mm Nambu, manufactured at the Nagoya Arsenal June, 1943. Features a blued finish, 4.6" barrel, dovetailed inverted 'v' front sight, fixed square notch rear sight, rounded trigger, large trigger guard, knurled cocking piece, manual safety on the left side of the frame, (Safety lever is a replacement) magazine disconnect safety, push button magazine release, 8 round magazine, steel frame with lanyard loop on the rear and hand checkered wood grips. No import marks have been observed. Bore is overall very good/bright with a very small area of light pitting. Retains about 70% of blued finish, dulling, with scattered light patina throughout, a bright drag line on the frame from the safety lever, bare metal on sharp edges and around muzzle. Grips are good serviceable condition, lightly scratched. Includes a fair rubberized canvas original flap holster, the flap has separated.
