High quality pre/early WW2 Marine Corps Officer's Mameluke sword, manufactured in Solingen, Germany, for U.S. distribution. The German made, stainless steel, slightly curved, single edged, multi-fullered, etched, 30 1/4" blade on is named to a “Vernon O. Ullman”. The crisp acid etched panels read: “United States Marines”, one to each side with scroll work, EGA, American Flag motifs, blade is excellent. The obverse features the Star of David. The spine is marked "23” with matching number on the drag and scabbard. (H-H acceptance number).
