Repeat donor Jacobus van der Merwe of Hawk-Eye Safaris is donating this remarkable 14 Day Leopard hunt for 1 hunter, which includes the trophy fees for 1 Leopard and 2 Hartman (Mountain) Zebra. This is a true free-range leopard hunt over bait, with a very high success rate.
This will be the third year that we have offered this amazing donation and we can honestly say that if you want a Big Cat, then this is the Cat you want to go with!
No one works harder than JJ and the results of his effort is clearly reflected in the pictures from our 2021 and 2022 auction winners.
Your leopard hunt will take place in a magnificent free-range concession which spans over roughly 200,000 acres. This beautiful, yet rugged area, is impossible to tame! It is home to a dense population of leopards and just the type of area where Big Cats can grow to the age that is required to develop into a true trophy leopard!
Hawk-Eye Safaris will provide you with a luxury tented camp and you will have the opportunity to enjoy a true classic African Dark Continent Safari.

• Day rates for a 14-day 1x1 fully guided safari.
• Leopard ($4,000 No Shot Refund ) Trophy Fee.
•2 Hartman Zebra Trophy fees. Each Zebra will skinned and caped for trophy.

Online Live Auction Policy
All sales are final. There will be no exchanges or refunds on auctioned hunts, services and/or items, including fishing trips (hereinafter “hunts”).
All such auctioned hunts must be used within the timeframe specified on the donation. If no date range is specified, all such hunts must be used within one year of the date of purchase.
The purchaser (winning bidder) must contact the donor within thirty (30) days of the date of this purchase.
If the purchaser fails to contact the donor within thirty (30) days of the date of this purchase, the donor may consider the donation invalid.
It is the purchaser’s responsibility to contact the hunt and/or services donor immediately, make all necessary arrangements for dates, and submit the application for any necessary paperwork for licenses and/or permits.
Failure to make necessary arrangements may constitute forfeiture.
SCI-AK is not, and will not act as, a conduit or go-between between the purchaser and donor.
SCI-AK has made reasonable efforts to ensure the quality of donated hunts, items, and other services; however, SCI-AK does not guarantee the satisfaction of the donor or the purchaser.
All donors provided notice on the SCI-AK donation form, or other supporting documents they submitted to SCI-AK with their donation, specifics regarding the duration (in days) of the hunt/service and the available date range for completion of the hunt or service offered in the donation. They also addressed what lodging/accommodations are offered and what trophy fees are included with the donation. A copy of this donation form (and/or supporting documents) will be provided to the winning bidder if he/she requests the subject documents formally in writing to SCI-AK within 12 months of the auction date.
SCI-AK does not guarantee or warrant that a trophy animal or any animal will be taken during the period of the hunt. Locating or taking an animal of any trophy quality or otherwise is not a condition of acceptance by the purchaser for the purchased hunt.
A person who bids on behalf of another person or group is responsible for payment in its entirety.
Several bid items have undisclosed reserve amounts. The seller or its designee reserves the right to bid up to, but not over, the undisclosed reserve amount.
The goods and services offered in the auction are sold “as is”, including any faults or defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of SCI-AK or Safari Club International (SCI). SCI-AK and SCI make no warranties of fitness or merchantability.
The winning bidder acknowledges that SCI-AK and SCI cannot be responsible for, or liable for, any political unrest, epidemic or instability that may occur inside or outside the United States, nor can SCI-AK or SCI be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from.
The winning bidder further acknowledges that his/her purchase is final and non-refundable under any and all circumstances.
SCI-AK reserves the right to add/withdraw any item from the auction line-up.
All donations will be used for efforts to protect our hunting heritage, wildlife conservation projects, and other core missions of SCI and SCI-AK, so please bid generously!
