Once again SCI Convention exhibitor Peter Thormählen of Thormählen & Cochran Safaris supports us with a SEVEN (7)-DAY SAFARI for ONE (1) HUNTER and ONE (1) OBSERVER w/$1000 TROPHY FEE CREDIT valid in 2017-18. You hunt the trophies of your choice and they give you a credit to start with! Thormählen-Cochran is dedicated to make your African safari an unforgettable experience. This African Safari will take place in Nambia – one of Africa’s most geographically and culturally diverse countries. The country offers a challenging environment that is waiting to be explored and the untamed wilderness yields its secrets only to the adventurous! Anabeb conservancy is 495 000 acres of pristine, breathtaking, unspoiled, unfenced Africa located in north western Namibia in the Kaokoland region. It is close to western border of Etosha National Park.  This is true wild Africa. There is no game fence around the conservancy, only a Namibian Government veterinary fence to protect the country from diseases.  Game, including desert elephant and lion, migrate from the Kunene river bordering Angola in the north down to the south of the concession, and from the west coast of the Atlantic Ocean inland to the conservancy.  Accommodation is a luxury tented safari camp with our own chef to prepare African cuisine for each individual client’s needs. Pickup/drop off airport is Hosea Kutako International airport at Windhoek, and ground transportation to the concessions is a Toyota shuttle van. Private Air Charter service is also available from Windhoek to the conservancy. Hunting is done in 4x4 double cab Land Cruiser hunting vehicles, with highly trained trackers, skinners and professional hunters. Encourage your family or non-hunting friends to accompany you – Namibia is safe. TERMS: You may upgrade with additional hunters ($450 ea) and/or observers ($250 ea). 1. Donation does not include airfare to or from Windhoek; 2. Donated days cannot be “credited” after purchase; 3. Hunting days may be upgraded; see table above and website for day fee rates; 4. Hunt may be upgraded to include additional hunters and observers – see website for applicable rates; 5. Any Trophy animals available may be hunted; the credit will be taken of the total balance of trophy fees - see available species list for trophy fees; 6. Donated “9 days” means: Day 1 - Day of Arrival, Day 9 – Day of Departure; 7. Donations are valid for a 2 year period from date of purchase. The safari must be booked between the months of March and November; 8. Safari date must be finalized as soon as possible to avoid disappointment - email anso@africatrophyhunting.com;   9. An Indemnity Agreement will be signed before commencement of the hunt by every person attending; 10. Only one Donated hunt may be purchased per family - more than one donation cannot be combined for the same year; 11. Trophy animals cannot be guaranteed - fair chase ethical hunting practice applies.  12. Donation does not include any Taxidermy cost on trophies; 13. Donation does not include Dip/Pack cost on trophies; 14. Donation does not include Shipping cost on trophies; 15. Donation does not include Value Added Tax on Day Fees and 15% VAT is payable on day fees. On a 7-day safari, the VAT amounts to $735 for Namibia.
