Naval Uniforms of Lt Commander Berning, Robert Frederick Berning enlisted in the Navy at age 17, distinguished himself as an Officer at 19 and commanded the USS Worland at 24. He served in WWII and the Korean War. Lot includes Officer's dress tan jacket, with shoulder boards and service ribbons, size 38, tan pants 24x30, Officer's cap, 2 Officer's watch coats, size 42, with pants 26x30, Officer's wool overcoat with Captain's bars, size 38, two sets of summer white uniforms with pants, heavy cotton, size 38, 4 tan cotton shirts, and 1 pair of tan cotton pants, 24x30, all in very good condition, recently dry cleaned.

We work very hard for the consignor as well as the buyer. The auction moves fast between the auctioneer, the on site bids, and the live internet bids. Because of this, one little delay, or what we call 'hiccup' in the internet connection, can cause an online bid to be missed. We apologize if this happens, but it is sometimes inevitable. Please be aware of this when attending a Proxibid auction.
Due to the element of Third Party Auctions and the reliability/unreliability of technical issues, we reserve the right to end an auction early or extend an auction as we see fit. We value our customers, both buyers and sellers, and try very hard to ensure an exciting, smooth, successful auction! We are happy and willing to work with you under any circumstances.
