Austrian army issued single action semi-automatic service pistol chambered in 9x19mm, manufactured circa 1919. The pistol shows a 1930 Austrian military acceptance date, has Landes Genarmerie Kommando Niederösterreich Austrian police proof on the lanyard loop, and has German marks from when it was captured from the Austrian arsenal, sent to Mauser, rechambered from 9mm Steyr to 9x19mm Luger & issued to the German Police. Features a blued finish, 5.1" barrel, dovetailed inverted 'v' front sight, 'v' notched rear sight, smooth trigger, serrated hammer spur, thumb safety/slide catch on the left side of the frame, internal 8 round magazine, integral stripper clip guide cuts in the slide, lanyard loop on the butt and two-piece checkered walnut grips. Includes a three stripper clips and a 2-5-58 dated receipt from Pasadena Gun Shop to R. Y. Stratton, Lt. Col., USMC for the amount of $15.95. All observed serial numbers are matching. Pistol retains approximately 70% of it's thinned arsenal reblued finish showing moderated holster wear and scattered handling marks/finish loss. Action is sound, the bore is pristine, markings are crisp and the wood grips are good. Condition is NRA Fine ***C&R Firearm***
