New Zealand Horn & Antler Safaris invites 1 hunter, up to a maximum of 3 hunters, to experience a 10-day hunting adventure on the South Island of New Zealand pursuing Red Stag, Himalayan Bull Tahr, and Alpine Chamois.
NZ Horn & Antler specializes in providing exclusive, private hunting experiences for small groups, allowing hunters to enjoy their adventure with only their companions in camp. Their operation offers exceptional scenery and outstanding opportunities for both hunters and non-hunting guests.
Your Red Stag hunt takes place on a fair-chase, high-fenced private ranch with abundant trophy animals and varied terrain. Hunters glass from elevated vantage points before stalking their trophy. At the end of each day, guests return to the main lodge to relax, enjoy their favorite beverage, and share stories over home-cooked cuisine.
The Tahr and Chamois hunts take place on extensive government concession land and are conducted as aerial-assisted mountain hunts. A helicopter is used to locate animals in the vast alpine terrain before hunters pursue them on foot through some of the most breathtaking landscapes New Zealand has to offer.
Available dates must be scheduled with the outfitter between April and August 2027 or 2028.
Included in the hunt package: Red Stag up to 360 SCI (value $5,000 per hunter), daily guide services (value $5,000 per hunter), field preparation of trophies, lodge accommodations and meals, and airport transfers from Christchurch Airport.
Not included: trophy fees for Bull Tahr ($7,500) and Alpine Chamois ($4,500), helicopter flight time to access wilderness hunting areas (approximately $2,700 per hour), dip and ship of trophies, and pre- or post-hunt accommodations.
Hunters may upgrade to a higher-class Red Stag and apply the $5,000 credit toward the upgraded trophy.
Additional trophies and hunting days may be added at the outfitter's current pricing including South Pacific Elk, White Stag, Fallow Buck, Arapawa Ram, South Pacific Goat, and waterfowl hunting when in season.
Non-hunters are welcome at $175 per day and may participate in a wide variety of activities available through the outfitter.
This hunt donation cannot be used in conjunction with any other New Zealand Horn & Antler hunt or current booking.

SCI MIDSOUTH CHAPTER AUCTION RULES
Spirit of the Auction
We are here tonight to celebrate conservation, education, and sportsmanship. To accomplish this goal, the Chapter has arranged this live auction. The more generous your bidding this evening, the more money the Chapter and SCI will have to fund local, national, and international conservation, education, and humanitarian initiatives. Please support our efforts by BIDDING EARLY and OFTEN.
General Rules
If you are the successful bidder, you agree to pay the amount of your bid plus all applicable taxes this evening. All sales are final and are non-refundable.
There will be no post-auction sales of unsold live auction items. Items on the live auction will only be offered once during the auction. Items that do not receive any bids or that receive bids that do not meet the reserve will be withdrawn.
This is an auction with reserve. This means that the Chapter reserves the right to establish a reserve price, to accept or decline any and all bids, or to withdraw the item at any time prior to the announcement of the completion of the sale by the auctioneer. All items currently listed in the program as live auction items may have a reserve. This means that a minimum acceptable price has been set, and the Chapter may or may not disclose the reserve price during the auction. The Chapter may change the reserve price at any time. In order to win a live auction item, your final bid must be higher than the reserve for that item. You need not be physically present to win.
The terms of an auction item are set forth in the description and have been described by the Chapter as reasonably as possible. The hunts being auctioned are not guaranteed, which means that no money will be returned to the winning bidder, and the winning bidder should not expect to be invited back at no cost should the winning bidder be unable to harvest an animal. If something is not included in the terms, bidders should assume that the specific term is not included and may cost additional money. The Chapter shall not be liable for typographical errors or errors in the description. Photos may be stock photos, and thus, they may not represent the class of game to be taken at the locations.
Restriction on Transfer/Resale of Live Auction Items
No live auction item may be transferred or resold without the prior written approval of the Board of Directors of the Chapter, which may consent or withhold consent for the transfer for any reason in their sole discretion. Only the person registered as a bidder and being declared the winning bid on an item by the auctioneer shall be considered the owner of that item, unless otherwise declared and specified at time of checkout and form completion. Any subsequent attempt to transfer the item shall result in forfeiture of the item back to the Chapter. Neither the Chapter nor the donor shall be responsible for refunding any payments made to purchase an item that has been forfeited. The decision as to whether an item has been transferred or attempted to be transferred shall be at the sole and absolute discretion of the Board of Directors of the Chapter.
Not an Agent of the Donor
The Chapter is not an agent or partner of any donor of a live auction item. The winning bidder releases, waives, discharges, indemnifies, holds harmless, and covenants not to sue Safari Club International, the SCI Mid South Chapter, and their affiliates, subsidiaries, officers, employees, and members, all of which are hereinafter referred to as “Releasees”, from any and all liability, cost, and expense to the winning bidder and his or her heirs and next of kin for any and all claims, demands, losses, or damages on account of injury, including death or damage to property, caused or alleged to be caused in whole or in part by the negligence, gross negligence, or intentional conduct of the Releasees or otherwise. All sales are final and are non-refundable.
ALL PURCHASES WILL BE CHARGED A 3% CREDIT CARD/TRANSACTION FEE.
