“Hunters choice” safari for two hunters, 4 days, including a $1000.00 credit per hunter towards either a Red Stag, Fallow, Tahr or Chamois, hunters during March-July 2020 or 2021.
Shane Johnston- Owner/Outfitter of Four Seasons Safaris New Zealand would like to invite (2) two hunters to experience breathtaking scenery and the mountainous wilderness of the Southern Alps while hunting New Zealand’s big game animals. This is a fantastic opportunity for two hunters to enjoy hunting free range Tahr and Chamois in the Southern Alps and trophy Red Stag or Fallow in the lush rolling hill country of NZ. With exceptional scenery, friendly experienced knowledgeable guides and an array of outstanding hunting opportunities this will be your hunt of a lifetime.
Outfitter Shane Johnston, is a Past President of the NZ Professional Hunting Guides Association, long time SCI life member, Dallas Safari Club 2007 Outfitter of the year, Houston Safari Club 2013 Professional Hunter of the Year, has generously donated this four day hunt on the South Island of New Zealand for (2) two hunters during March-July 2020 or 2021.
Hunt includes 4 days/3 nights hunting for 2 hunters - 2x1 guiding, cabin accommodation in hunt area, meals, transfers from Christchurch International airport to hunting area within guiding days and a $1000.00 credit for each hunter to put towards hunters choice of either a Red Stag, Fallow, Tahr or Chamois.
This hunt can not be taken in conjunction with any other NZ hunting safari or a safari already booked with Four Seasons Safaris New Zealand.
This donated hunt can be extended for additional days, upgraded to include additional NZ species, upgraded to luxurious 5 star resort accommodation $450.00/day, additional hunters and non-hunters welcome.
Not included is weapons permit NZ$25.00, expediting, taxidermy, shipping/packing or export documents of trophies and gratuities.
If you choose to hunt tahr or chamois, this will be an Aerial Assisted Trophy Hunt, in which the costs for flying time via helicopter is payable by the hunters.
The fees for tahr is $5000.00, chamois is $4000.00 and the hunter that chooses either a tahr or chamois has $1000.00 off these fees.
If you choose to hunt red stag, for example a trophy red stag up to 400” is $10000.00, you would get the $1000.00 credit off the fees of the stag with the balance payable as $9000.00.
A Fallow Buck is $3500.00 & for an XL Fallow is $7500.00 in which if you choose to hunt a Fallow, the hunter will get $1000.00 off the fallow fees.

Shipping arrangements and payments are the responsibility of the winning bidder. Shipping available nationwide and Canada. DSCNM assumes no responsibility or liability of shipped items. No merchandise items will be shipped until DSCNM receives confirmation of full payment. Merchandise will be shipped within thirty (30) days after auction closes and payment confirmation is verified.
Payment Details:
All sales are final. No returns will be accepted. Winning bidder authorizes DSCNM to charge their credit card for the full amount of the winning bid plus buyers premium upon close of the auction. Payments will not be accepted from any third parties outside of a successful qualified bidder nor may the responsibility for any transaction be transferred to a third party. DSCNM accepts Visa, Master Card, Discover, Amex or Wire Transfer. Buyer Assumes all fees associated with a wire transfer.
Accepted Payment Methods:
The following provisions will apply to bidders participating in online bidding:
1. Winner’s credit card on file will charged the full amount for each successful bid. Winner will receive an immediate email acknowledgement at the conclusion of the bidding phase followed by a paid invoice once their payment has processed.
2. In the event the card is declined, DSC New Mexico will make one attempt to contact the winner to obtain a new form of payment. If the bidder cannot be reached, DSC New Mexico may, in its sole and absolute discretion, re-sell the affected item. Online bidders are encouraged to remain available via cell phone during the bidding process.
3. Online winners will be assessed a Buyer's Premium of 5% on the total winning bid amount for each online purchase. The Buyer’s Premium will be included in the total charged for each item.
4. Online bidders agree not to use any device, software or routine to interfere or attempt to interfere with the proper working of any transaction being conducted during the online auction.
5. DSC New Mexico reserves the right, for any reason, in its sole discretion, to terminate, change or suspend any aspect of the online auction.
6. If bidder dissatisfaction occurs with the online auction in any way, bidder’s only recourse is to immediately discontinue use of the online auction before items have been purchased.
7. DSC New Mexico reserves the right to terminate bidder registration and use of the online auction, and impose limits on certain features of the online auction or restrict bidder access to, or use of, part or the entire online auction without notice or penalty.
8. All items sold through DSC New Mexico are received from third party vendors. GOODS: All goods in the live auctions, silent auctions and raffles have been acquired or obtained from third parties. The high bidder acknowledges that the goods have not been inspected by DSC New Mexico, and is advised, in the case of firearms, knives, bullets or other weapons to secure a competent inspection and test of the goods before use. The goods in the live auctions are sold “as is” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of DSC New Mexico. DSC New Mexico makes no warranties of fitness or merchantability, and expressly disclaims the same. DSC New Mexico does not accept any responsibility or liability for any product, design or use. Any written warranties with respect to the goods delivered to the purchaser are those solely of the manufacturer or their agents, and shall be the sole liability and responsibility of the manufacturer. All firearms obtained for this event will be transferred in accordance with federal, state and local regulations. SERVICES: All services, hunts or otherwise, in the live auctions, silent auctions and raffles have been acquired for and are to be furnished by third parties and contain the same reservation set forth under “GOODS” above. The services in the live auctions are sold “as is” with all faults and defects, and without any express or implied warranty on the part of DSC New Mexico. DSC New Mexico makes no warranties of fitness or merchantability, and expressly disclaims the same. No services in the live auctions are to be or will be performed by DSC New Mexico. DSC New Mexico shall bear no responsibilities for the delivery or quality of any of the services or for any loss or damages arising from or related to or connected with the performance or non-performance of such services. The high bidder further acknowledges that in the event services are purchased, DSC New Mexico cannot be responsible for or liable for any political unrest or instability that may occur outside the confines of the United States, nor can DSC New Mexico be accountable for any injuries or damages that may arise there from. The high bidder further acknowledges that his/her purchase is final and non-refundable under any and all circumstances, and that should legal action be required to collect for the services or merchandise acquired by the high bidder at the auction, DSC New Mexico shall be entitled to all reasonable attorney’s fees, cost of court and interest as provided by law.
9. Bidder acknowledges that the online auction bidding phase is conducted electronically and relies on hardware and software that may malfunction without warning. DSC New Mexico will not be responsible for error or failures to execute bids placed via the internet, including, without limitation, errors or failures caused by (i) a loss of connection on DSC New Mexico`s or bidder`s end (ii) a breakdown or problems with the online bidding software and /or (iii) a breakdown or problems with a bidder`s internet connection, computer or system. DSC New Mexico does not accept liability for failure to execute any online bid or for errors or omissions in connection therewith.
10. DSC New Mexico may void any sale, temporarily suspend bidding and re-sell any goods that were affected by any malfunction.
11. Any hunt, fishing trip or membership purchased in this auction cannot be sold, raffled or bartered without the written consent of DSCNM.
