Repeat donor, Canada North Outfitting has provided this opportunity for two hunters to hunt Greenland Musk Ox! This hunt is to be scheduled for available dates during the 2015 spring season. Included with this purchase are: 1x1 guide service; rough trophy prep and packaging (hunter to supply tarp, duct tape and duffle bag); transportation to and from Cambridge Bay to the hunt area and during the hunt; meals and lodging in cabins during the hunt. The successful bidder will need to connect flights from Edmonton, Alberta to Cambridge Bay, Nunavat, Canada. Canada North will assist in making arrangements from Edmonton to Cambridge. Hunter will enjoy Canada North’s Arctic Hotel and Airfare discounts (Edmonton to Cambridge Bay). Hunter is responsible for the costs of flights to and from Cambridge Bay, hotels en route; hotel in Cambridge Bay before and after the hunt, meals en route and while in Cambridge Bay; 2.5% tax; license ($52.50); government trophy fee ($157.50); Non-resident Hunt Preservation Fee ($200); general administration fee ($100); firearm declaration fee ($25); and tips. Canada North Outfitting will arrange flights and hotels. This hunt may be upgraded to include: a second Musk Ox (($3,550 plus tax; Arctic Islands Caribou ($8,950); and/or Non-hunters ($4,950 per person). Hunters may choose their weapon – rifle, bow or muzzle-loader.
Musk Ox harvested in this area dominate the SCI Record Book entries for Greenland Musk Ox. Canada North has had 100% hunter success in the past (Archery hunts included). This Musk Ox hunt is the perfect introduction to the Arctic!
