Join Ameri-Cana Expeditions for a true arctic adventure! This 1x1 guided hunt for Barren Ground Musk Ox is to be scheduled for available dates in spring 2026 or 2027. This is a classic Arctic Hunt, snowmobile travel and camping out with your Inuit guides in the top trophy areas. Arctic conditions apply with temperatures from -25F (-30C) to +10F (-15C). These hunts are conducted by travelling in an open wood sled pulled by a snowmobile. For safety, two hunters with two guides will travel and hunt together. Rifles or Bows are both regularly used. Accommodations during this hunt will be a heated wall tent. Mattresses and arctic sleeping bags are provided. Arctic pants and parka are available for rent. The arrival and departure point for this hunt is Kugluktuk Airport. Overnight stays in Edmonton are generally required before and after the hunt and are the hunter’s responsibility. The hunter is also responsible for travel to and from the airport in Kugluktuk, license and tag (estimated at $1,390 CD), GST (5%), hotel and meals before and/or after in the Kugluktuk community if needed or desired, fleshing/salting/and crating of trophy for shipment at a taxidermist in Edmonton, shipment of trophy and gratuities. Hunt this survivor of the ice age with Inuit guides who have hunted Musk Ox for generations! A majority of these Musk Ox make the B&C and Safari Club International record books. There is no better place to harvest a BIG Bull Barren Ground Musk Ox!

By submitting an electronic bid in the DSC Great Lakes Regional Chapter virtual auction in March 2026, bidder acknowledges that all bids submitted are legally binding offers to purchase and, if accepted as the high bid by the auctioneer, constitutes a legally bidding contract between the bidder and the DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter. Once submitted, no bid may be removed. The auctioneer is the sole authority in establishing specific bid increments, the high bidder (purchaser), and the amount bid. Successful bidder acknowledges further that, should their bid be accepted as the high bid by the auctioneer, they are legally responsible to consummate the sale not later than the 12:00 a.m. the date immediately following the auction sale. All auction sales shall be considered consummated only be means of making payment in full via credit card (VISA, MasterCard or American Express). Specific goods and/or services described in the official auction offering constitute the full and complete agreement between the high bidder and the DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter, its Board of Directors, donors and Dallas Safari Club, individually and/or collectively. The DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter Board of Directors reserves the right to accept or reject any bid offered on an item identified in the auction item description as having a reserve bid.
Neither the DSC - Great Lakes Regional Chapter, specific hunt donors and/or Dallas Safari Club guarantee or warrant that trophy animals of any species, or that any animals of any quality, will be taken on any hunt/trip offered for sale by means of the Chapter auction.
Consummation of an auction purchase, as described above, is an acknowledgement that the DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter, its Board of Directors and/or Dallas Safari Club affirm that they have not in any manner inspected good/services sold via auction. Further, buyer is advised to secure a competent inspection of firearms, archery equipment, knives, ammunition, and weapons of any manner prior to use. All goods are sold as is without any warranty of any type, of faults and/or defects of any manner. All warrantees and/or guarantees for all goods and/or services are those provided solely by specific manufactures.
All services sold by means of the auction have been secured from, and are to be provided by, third parties. No services of any kind are to be provided directly by the DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter or by Dallas Safari Club. DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter and Dallas Safari Club bear no responsibility/liability for the delivery or quality of services of any item sold by means of the auction or any loss or damage arising from, or connected to, performance or non-performance of any service purchased by means of the auction. Further, purchaser acknowledges that actions of governmental agencies, foreign or domestic, are beyond the control of the DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter and/or Dallas Safari Club. As such, DSC – Great Lakes Regional Chapter and Dallas Safari Club make no guarantees/warrantees related to services disrupted and/or not performed as a result of any action taken by any governmental agency.
