ZEISS SCOPE. Cal. 12 Ga., 2 3/4" / 6.5x57R. S# 64635. The 24 1/2" monobloc bbls. are fitted with narrow matted top rib, center portion cut away forming quarterrib at rear and front sight ramp. Quarterrib is fitted with 1 folding leaf U-notch sight and claw scope bases. Front sight is silver bead. Top of monobloc is stamped with Zoli name and address on left and "MADE IN ITALY" on right. Bottom is stamped with 1981 Italian Nitro proofs for 12 Ga. and 6.5x57R. Coin finished low profile O/U action with ornamental sideplates has Beretta type locking system, nonautomatic safety and double triggers (front set). Action and sideplates are roll engraved with near full coverage varying size scroll surrounding game scenes with stag and big horn ram on left and right. Bottom of action has scene of a mountain goat. Somewhat marbled European walnut pistol grip buttstock measures 15" over broan open sided pad and features right hand cheekpiece and point pattern checkering. Sling loops are on toeline and bottom of rifle bbl. Matching one piece forend has Deeley release. Gun is fitted with Zeiss DIATAL-D 6x rail scope with 3 post reticle in claw mounts, rear with windage. MEASUREMENTS: SHOTGUN BBL: Bore Diameter: .731". Restriction: .043" (EXTRA FULL). Min. CONDITION: very good. Bbls. retaining about 70% original blue with a considerable amount of scratches and marks. Coin finish of action remains good, slightly darkened on bottom. Stocks retain most of their oil finish which has considerably dulled and has many light scratches checkering somewhat worn. Bores are bright and shiny. Mechanically good. Scope has a considerable amount of scratches and rubs on exterior along with a fairly deep dent at top of objective bell. No damage is noted to optics, which are relatively clear. (22-4878/MGM).
