DONATION: Wyoming knife maker Dennis Friedly along with US Army 10th Special Forces – Sgt. First Class Matthew Bessler are giving back! Friedly with the help of Bessler has designed a true marble marvel. “Old Glory” is a piece of history. Matt Bessler, U.S. Army Special Forces, carried the marble back to the states after a translator gave it to him in Iraq. The marble was from a flight of steps from one of the palaces of none other than Saddam Hussein. The mosaic dagger features the “Stars and Strips” to represent the great United States of America. Dennis has an art background and 45 years of experience of making knives and has crafted some showstoppers in his career. He is no stranger to WSF as he donated a beautiful knife to the WWO at the 2015 “Sheep Show” that generated $50,000! “It’s just to be able to help them out in a sense that they gave so much so that I can stay in my shop and have the freedom to do what I want.” Friedly said.
Don’t miss out on a one-of-a-kind piece of history and the opportunity to support our heroic soldiers.
