The quarry for this 7 day backcountry adventure with K9’s Cougar Canyon Adventures is a 4-point deer. November is the rut, which means the bucks are on the move and can be found in bedding areas. This 1:1 hunt will utilize a combination of hunting techniques: spot-and-stalk, ATV, and trucks. Ground blinds and tree stands can also be used to accommodate all fitness levels. Guide outfitter Denver Kitzan has been passionate about hunting since he was old enough to tote a gun. He recently purchased a game-rich guide territory in the Okanagan and is excited to pursue his passion for hunting and the outdoors.
Accommodations for this trip will be a motel (cost included in hunt) or camper trailer, depending on the weather. Non-hunters can join for $175 per day. Meat and trophy can be brought to a local taxidermist and butcher at the request of the hunter. Licences, tags, royalties and HPF are not included.

Unless otherwise specified, the outfitter will be responsible for the care of the preliminary trophy preparation, salting and transportation of trophies and meat to the departure point, at no additional cost. Departure point is noted in each donation profile. The successful auction bidder will be responsible for all transportation costs and crating for the departure point to their home or taxidermist. Licenses, tags and other fees are at the expense of the successful bidder. Upon receipt of certified funds, the outfitter will acquire licenses and tags prior to the hunt. In the hunt listings, you will see the from time to time the letters “TBA” which means “to be arranged” with the guide outfitter. Successful bidders will be required to sign an insurance liability waiver form prior to taking their hunt or other wilderness trip. Al trips must be taken within the time specified. Any changes are at the sole discretion of the guide outfitter making the donation. All trips are for one person unless otherwise specified.
