Joseph and Jarrid Barry have generously donated a whitetail management hunt on their managed high-fenced preserve property for one lucky hunter and their non-hunting companion! The donation is for 3 ½ days of hunting during the fall of 2020. The focus of the management activities at Powder Ridge revolve around building superior habitat for their private deer herd and other native wildlife. In 2008 they made the decision to preserve over 550 Acres of the property to allow for strict management of world class whitetail deer genetics in an intensely managed, northeast habitat. The preserve is managed on three main principles; Superior Habitat, Superior Genetics, and Superior Deer Hunting. It is home to a privately managed deer herd that is consistently producing world class deer each year. This property was exclusively developed to create a true, high quality, trophy whitetail hunting experience. The Barry’s are confident that you will be impressed by the quality of their property, and the caliber of whitetails that you will be pursuing. There are nine enclosed hunting blinds throughout the property that are strategically placed on the large food plots and timbered hillsided that encompass the property. Additional hunters are welcome at the listed prices base on availability. The non-hunting companion can upgrade to a hunt as well, there is a maximum of four hunters in camp at a time. Included are lodging, meals, trophy care (caping & field dressing) and transportation to and from hunting sites. Not included are destination travel to and from lodge, meat processing (available locally), taxidermy, tips or gratuities.
