1.TYLER DAVIDSON FULL STOCK PERCUSSION RIFLE. Cal. 36 NSN. Bbl. 41" oct. Fixed v-notch rear sight. Small brass blade front sight. Double set triggers. Front top of bbl. marked "JACKSON GUN". Rear appears to be marked "M SELLS".Bbl. & front of lock have floral engraving. Center of lock marked "T. DAVIDSON/CINCINNATI". Rear of lock has pheasant scene. Brass trigger guard, sideplate, buttplate thimble & nosecap. Lower tang part of buttplate is missing. Nicely figured maple stock. Wooden ramrod w/ chipped end. CONDITION: stock shows some chipping around lock & breech. Stock also shows further chipping in ramrod channel & scattered handling wear. Metal is an overall brown patina w/ scattered pitting & dings. Oxidized bore. 2. US MARKED J. HENRY & SON PERCUSSION HALF STOCK RIFLE. Cal. 38. NSN. Bbl. 36 1/2" oct. U-notch rear sight. Brass blade front sight. Lock & bbl. both marked "J. HENRY & SON". Hammer spur is broken & shows evidence of previous weld repair but is present. Double set triggers. Brass nosecap & key eschuteon. Walnut stock w/ iron thimbles & wooden ramrod. Bottom of butt marked "US" behind lower tang denoting that this musket was used by the US government as treaty or annuity payment to Native tribes prior to the Civil War. Top of upper tang, right side of butt & key escutcheon have a carved "H" letter. CONDITION: stock has added finish w/ a small crack on left side near recoil lug, scattered dings & handling wear. Brass parts are a dull yellow patina w/ some oxidation & dings. Balance of metal is a gray oxidized patina w/ some scattered pitting most notable near hammer. Oxidized bore w/ scattered pitting.
