Mapu Hunting Lodge has generously donated a 6-night, 5-day trip for 2 hunters to pursue 1 free range red stag, 1 wild boar (to be shared between hunters), and dove hunting in the La Pampa province of Argentina. Hunt must be taken between March-May 2019 and may be upgraded per the current price list. Additional non-hunters may be added for $250/night and additional hunters for $350/night. This donation includes 1:1 guide service, all required trophy export documents, animal prep & staff, trackers, accommodations, food, beverages, house spirits, beer, Argentinian wines, satellite TV, free wireless internet access, and ground transfer to and from Santa Rosa Airport to Mapu Hunting Lodge. Mapu Hunting Lodge guarantees an unparalleled red stag hunting experience. The unique environment and the high concentration of hinds attract stags from many miles away, resulting in intense and dramatic roaring during the rut, surely the most exciting and exhilarating experience a hunter can have. Donation includes ground transfer to and from Santa Rosa Airport. It does not include ground transfers from Ezeiza International Airport in Buenos Aires to Jorge Newbery local airport, hunting licenses ($400) and tags ($100 per animal), guide tips, gun rentals, ammunition, gun importation fee, trophy delivery to Buenos Aires, and trophy exportation fees. Our mission: Preserving the sport of hunting through education, conservation and the promotion of our hunting heritage.
Houston Safari Club Foundation (HSCF) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization whose mission is to preserve the sport of hunting through education, conservation and the promotion of our hunting heritage. Our members come from a diverse background and have a wide variety of hunting, fishing, outdoor and other interests. But they all have one thing in common-their passion for the outdoors, a love of hunting, a commitment to the responsible management of our national resources, the education of future generations and the responsibilities of being hunter-conservationists.
How do we effect change? HSCF has awarded 525 scholarships totaling $2.25 million dollars. We conduct youth outdoor education programs, career training, hunter education and field experiences throughout the year. HSCF has provided over $3.7 million in grants for hunter-funded conservation initiatives including research, habitat protection, species proliferation, wildlife management, water projects, urban sprawl projects, anti-poaching campaigns and other efforts.

Houston Safari Club (HSC) is a 501(c)(4) non-profit organization dedicated to legislative and policy initiatives that may affect the future of hunting. HSC supports initiatives that protect the tradition of hunting and hunters’ rights. We take an active role in efforts to effect policy, protocols and legislation. HSC collaborates with legislators, key opinion leaders, policy groups, professional organizations and governments at home and abroad.
Live Auction Rules
§ When bidding from the floor, raise your hand high and, if necessary, stand to get the attention of the auctioneer or one of his spotters.
§ The auctioneer and his staff are responsible for the auction. Their rules must be followed explicitly. All decisions of the auctioneer will be final. Auctioneer and staff will decide any disputes regarding the bids during the live auction.
§ Asking questions ahead of time is encouraged. speak with the donor, visit their booth (if they are an exhibitor) and check their references. HSCF supports and promotes hunts and trips from donors who are members in good standing with their local and national hunting associations.
§ Some items, as components of donated hunts, may or may not be included unless specified. This may pertain to travel expenses to and from destination; hotel and meals before and after the hunt; alcoholic beverages; trophy dipping, packaging and shipping; gratuities and other items. Please review the details for each auction item.
§ Most hunt donations, unless otherwise specified, are for the 2019 season. All trips, unless otherwise specified, expire January 31, 2020. Special arrangements other than as set forth in the auction description are expressly between the donor and the auction winner.
§ Some non-hunt donations may require delivery and installation at your expense.
§ It is the bidder’s responsibility to read the HSCF Disclaimer of Liability for Goods & Services. By bidding on any auction item, whether in person or online, the bidder agrees that they have read, understand and agree to the HSCF Disclaimer of Liability.
