Cal. 45 Colt. S# 34673. Bbl. 5 1/2" with blade sight and Hartford 2 line address. 6 Shot fluted cylinder. Blue finish with case colored hammer. 2 Piece walnut grips with lanyard loop at butt. Right side of gun has "RAC" inspectors mark above grip referring to sub inspector Rinaldo A. Carr. "F.B." marking is found on right side near rear of top strap. Bottom of barrel is stamped "UNITED STATES PROPERTY". Butt of grip is stamped "U.S." / "ARMY" / "MODEL" / "1909" / "No." / "673". Bottom of both grip panels have "RAC" inspection marks. Mfg. 1909. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: Colt factory letter providing the following information "COLT NEW SERVICE REVOLVER MODEL OF 1909 / Serial Number: 34673 / Caliber: .45/c / Barrel Length: 5 1/2" / Finish: Blue / Type of Stocks: Wood / Special Features: furnished with a lanyard swivel / Sold To: United States Government / Shipped To: Commanding Officer / Ordnance Depot / Address: Manila, Philippine Islands / Date of Shipment: October 21, 1909 / Number of Same Type Guns in Shipment: 1,000". CONDITION: 60% blue blending with areas fading to gray showing scratches and small marks. Grips have heavily worn age darkened appearance with dents and small chips. Functioning action.
