Mid-late 19th century US Brigadier General epaulettes housed in a japanned tin carrying case. The epaulettes feature the bullion star and correct eagle button. Brass crescent with & #34;muffin& #34; type attachment button. The underside with red Moroccan leather and padded velvet. 1.5& #34; bullion General& #39;s star with removed insignia on the strap.
**Very good condition. Some minor dulling of color with bullion wire Lining and backing also in very good condition. Storage case hinges are broken.**
