Solid crescent with two rows of gold bullion, the outermost measuring 4& #34;.  Interior of crescent with embroidered Great Seal of the United States in dead and bright bullion.  Lined in Moroccan leather and padded silk.  Brass attachment hardware with & #34;muffin& #34; type staff buttons.  Comes with associated metal case.  Possibly a composite example or a custom-made pair for a general officer under the 1902 regulations.

**Good condition overall.  Nice bright bullion with intact embroidery.  Some loosening of lining material.**
