Pair of John Manton flintlock dueling pistols in case with accessories. Measures 15 ½” overall with 9 ½” barrels of .58 caliber smoothbore. Most of the brown and case hardened English finished remain. The stocksare very good with crisp checkering and some minor dents and scratches. Sharp markings and crisp edges. In original English case showing John Manton label in the lid. Correct style English leather covered flask, moldand screw driver. The wrist is inlaid with a silver plaque that is engraved. A crest of bearded man wearing wreath on head (Similar to ancient coins). The pair show Manton quality features with gold plugs andwaterproof pans. An exceptional set by top maker to British royalty.
