American made double barrel side by side box lock shotgun. Originally ordered on June 12, 1901 by E.K. Tryon of Philadelphia, for $80. Factory record book number 57 details several returns to the factory for barrel changes. Current configuration is as follows: 28" browned Damascus barrels choked Open left; Left barrel has polygonal rifling to support slug shooting as a Cylinder right; blued action with light decorative engraving along edges & borders, "PARKER BROS" over ducks on sides, pheasant on bottom; operating the top lever resets the sliding tang safety to "safe"; double triggers with 14-1/8" LOP to forward trigger; walnut splinter forend with checkering across bottom; semi-pistol grip walnut shoulder stock with checkered wrists & checkered grip cap; factory hard rubber butt plate. The barrels have suffered a significant strike or impact mid length, with both barrels bent significantly left, a flat ironed along part of the left barrel, and definitely need repair before firing. Bores otherwise show clean & smooth surfaces. Barrels show full coverage of a watery brown color with good Damascus pattern. Blued action is a bit dull and faded, very good coverage overall. Wood is very good, with nice pattern in the grain, good fit to metal and to butt plate, some oil staining near receiver. Checkering remains fairly crisp with signs of handling. Condition is NRA Poor - requires barrels straightened *** C&R Firearm ***
