Pre-War Smith & Wesson Model 1905 (4th Change) Double Action Revolver, #765606, .38 Spec. cal., 5'' barrel, blue finish, factory checkered large diamond walnut matching numbered grips with S&W medallions, case hardened checkered hammer and serrated trigger, with lanyard loop in butt. Shipped from the factory on April 24, 1941, to Kelley-How-Thompson Hardware Co., Duluth, MN, with factory letter signed by S&W Historian Roy G Jinks. Condition is excellent with only the slightest loss to finish to forward portion of frame lug just in front of triggerguard. Very thin index mark to cylinder, light thinning to muzzle and high edges of cylinder latch. Grip with light wear, more pronounced to right panel. Crisp action, mirror bright bore. Est.: $750-$1,000.
