.30 caliber, 18& #34; barrel, S/N XC7, barrel marked at the Inland Mfg Div General Motors 8-44. Marked on the top of the receiver U.S. Carbine CAL 30 M1. All metal has Parkerized finish. Fancy walnut stock and handguard. All metal retains nearly all of the original finish. Stock is excellent. The bore is bright and shiny, excellent. This is one of 100 made for experimental purposes and also to give to Executives of the company. Inland manufacture carbines from June 1942- August 1945.
