Overall Appears in Excellent Wartime Condition. It is my understanding that the conversion was done by the Chinese. When the Communists took over China at the end of WW II, they "inherited" a lot of US equipment that the Republicans could not take to Taiwan, including pistols. When they ran out of .45 ammo, they worked out a conversion to 7.62x25 so they could use the same ammo as their Mausers and Tokarevs. There are not a lot of them.
