RAINY PASS LODGE - ALASKA | Grizzly/Brown Bear & Black Bear Hunt Combo
Long time, repeat donor Rainy Pass Lodge is Alaska's oldest hunting lodge, Steve Perrins, is again donating this fantastic 7-day Grizzly/Brown bear and Black Bear combo hunt for 1 hunter. Hunt dates are to be arranged with the Outfitter for the year 2021 (if available) or 2022 or 2023, additional hunters are welcome ($17,000) and/or observers ($7,500). This 2-on-1 hunt includes camp accommodations, meals, guide, trophy fees for one Brown/Grizzly and one Black Bear, field and trophy preparations.

The hunter is responsible for license and tag fees and can use the weapon of choice. This is one of the few hunting lodges in Alaska where horses are used so the hunt will be conducted on horseback and foot. The arrival point is Anchorage, Alaska, and from there a special transportation charter flight is required at a cost per person currently at $1,000. The hunt can be upgraded to include other combos (Dall Sheep, Moose, Caribou and Wolf) at the outfitter’s price list. This is a two Bear area and a second Brown/Grizzly may be added for the trophy fee of $4,000. The Lodge was founded and operated by the Branham family from 1937 to 1977, and then from 1977 to 2003 the Lodge was operated by Vern Humble and Family.

In February of 2003 Steve and Denise Perrins purchased the Rainy Pass Lodge property and have been keeping its wild Alaska hunting tradition alive. Whatever interest you in the Alaskan wilderness we invite you to join us at one of the most picturesque and historic lodges and hunting experiences in Alaska. Dozens of members of the Michigan Chapter have hunted with Steve over the past fifteen years, you will not be disappointed!
