LEVER ACTION RIFLE. Cal. 45 Colt. S# BB0016748C. Bbl. 20" oct. Gold bead front sight. Sporting rear sight. Gold-finished commemorative to the Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Numbered 77 out of 100, made by A&A Engraving of Rapid City, SD. Receiver has floral engraving with several scenes of racing, including vintage motorcycling and automobile racing. Right side of the receiver also has a plaque telling the history of the speedway. Both sides of bbl. have "1909 INDIANAPOLIS MOTOR SPEEDWAY 2009" markings. Top of the bbl. is marked "THE GREATEST RACE COURSE IN THE WORLD". Tang of the buttplate has Culver Block brick engraving. Plastic band is present on the lever, likely indicating this rifle is unfired. Walnut stock has several carvings of racing, including vintage cars, NASCAR, and open-cockpit race cars. Butt and forend also have carvings of the Indianapolis Speedway logo. UNATTACHED ACCESSORIES: factory box matching-numbered to the gun; manual; gun sock with A&A Engraving sticker; a certificate of authenticity; a framed photo of the Indy 500 Hall of Fame with every winner from 1911 until 2008; a matching-numbered wooden display case; a factory display stand; and paperwork from A&A Engraving.
